Saolta Arts presents Art@Work 18, an art exhibition by hospital staff on display until January 31st, 2022.
Art@Work is an art exhibition by staff working in Galway University Hospitals and is now an annual event during the Christmas season. This year’s exhibition showcases work from staff across various departments on our two hospital sites; University Hospital Galway and Merlin Park University Hospital, as well as some of our retired colleagues.
Margaret Flannery, Arts Director ‘Art@Work is an integral part of the programme for Saolta Arts. We are amazed by the talents of our colleagues and we are delighted to welcome newcomers each year. 2021 is another year we will never forget and we at Saolta Arts want to thank all participants for generously sharing their talents with our hospital community. The health and wellbeing of our staff is of vital importance and with another challenging year behind us it is great to celebrate the creativity among us. ‘
2021 has been another difficult year, however with inventive ways we have found ways to deliver arts programming to our patients, through digital means and socially distanced events. We look forward to a brighter 2022 when we can safely welcome back our artists.
